Dunkin Kehn was founded in 2016 as a bricks-and-mortar shop and spa in Westchester County, New York. Dunkin Kehn served hundreds of local women and helped them achieve radiant skin using botanical products, luxurious esthetic treatments, and lifestyle recommendations based on the principles of yoga and Ayurveda.
Dunkin Kehn is
a modern apothecary offering remedies for radiant skin.
Founder Jasmine Swann became known as "the skin guru," while the shop racked up accolades as Best of Westchester and Westchester Magazine's Favorite Shop in Briarcliff Manor.
We moved online in March of 2020 (1.5 years after Jasmine moved across the country), in unplanned sync with a global pandemic we couldn't have envisioned. We continue to serve our clients with exceptional, individualized advice and expertise to help them navigate green beauty and achieve their skin goals.
We offer a hand-selected curation of delectable green beauty products, along with the know-how to solve your skin challenges and help you achieve healthy, radiant skin.
We don't claim to be for the shopper who wants to subject her skin to every new fad and trend in skincare. We're for the woman who doesn't have time to watch YouTube videos about skincare routines (we know she's way too busy for that), but would prefer to be pointed in the right direction for her individual skin and desires.
Whether you shop with us online or set up a personalized consultation, we'd love to help you navigate the world of clean beauty in a way that meets you where you are now -- and takes you where you'd like to be tomorrow.
Dunkin Kehn was founded in 2016 by Jasmine Swann, a clean beauty junkie with a dirty past. She swapped her Maybelline for cruelty-free cosmetics in the early 90s, following her pre-teen, family-defying switch to a vegetarian lifestyle. But the early 'aughts found her chain-smoking cigarettes and chain-drinking martinis, while running marketing for a Manhattan fintech start-up — and burning the midnight oil reading beauty product reviews and analyzing ingredient lists for the gamut of conventional skincare and makeup brands.
Her first pregnancy brought her back to her green beauty and green living roots; cooking up a human being demanded a new level of attention to every ingredient being stirred into the proverbial pot. Over a decade ago, she retired from the corporate world to raise her two sons and formulate product in her kitchen. She found her way out of post-partum struggles teaching yoga as a method of self-care and self-love. From the teachings of her practice, she was able to turn from a lifelong hatred of her skin — inspired by her so-called "battles" with psoriasis and acne — to a skincare philosophy and practice based on the idea that one's skin is not, in fact, an enemy against which to fight.
Jasmine holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, but is passionate about small and micro business. She also holds a BA from Yale, but won't tell you unless you pry (or read a public bio). Go figure. An RYT-500 trained at ISHTA Yoga in Manhattan, Jasmine is currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner through the New World Ayurveda School. She consults with clients across the country from her home base in Chicago, to find skin solutions through products at Dunkin Kehn and elsewhere, as well as diet, lifestyle, and yoga-based therapies.
